Tim Bisagno is the founder of MissionXMission
Tim Bisagno spent his childhood in Houston, Texas, as the son of a well-known pastor. He pursued a conventional ministry education, earning a degree from Baylor University and attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; however, he found that his true passion lay elsewhere. Calling and mission
Despite feeling a persistent call to ministry, Tim quenched his calling through substance abuse. However, this approach proved ineffective. Humbled by his experiences, Tim came to recognize his profound need for God. This realization not only deepened his personal relationship with Jesus but also ignited a passionate desire to share his faith with others

Tim spent a year studying sanctification at the L’Abri Fellowship in Switzerland, immersing himself in a deeper understanding of faith and spiritual growth. Upon returning to Texas, he completed both a Discipleship Training School and a School of Evangelism through Youth With A Mission (YWAM), programs designed to equip participants with practical ministry skills and a passion for global missions. Following his calling, Tim served with YWAM in Amsterdam, Netherlands, for three years, dedicating himself to evangelism and outreach in an international context.

“Speaking their language”
Tim had a vision for a ministry that could connect with young people by speaking their "cultural language." In 1992, while serving in Amsterdam, he brought this vision to life by founding an evangelistic rock band called The Friendly's. The band served as a creative platform to share the Gospel and later evolved into a television show, MXTV, broadening its reach and impact.
